Introduction

Closing Date, Wednesday 14th April 2010

Finally, it feels like Spring has arrived in Dublin. We survived one of the longest winters in memory and are ready to get going again. Hopefully my latest offering will have something to tempt you! Viewing of lots is by appointment at 5 Rathgar Place. Please call ahead for directions. Alternatively, we can scan any single lot for your perusal. Don't forget that Stampania & the Spring Coin Show will be held in the RDS (Anglesea Road entrance), Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 on Sunday the 11th of April from 11am to 5pm.

Viewing can be arranged for any of the lots and I am usually in Rathgar Place most days from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Please phone for an appointment, as I am often out for short periods. If you have any items to sell, I would be very happy to buy them or put them in my next auction for sale.

Bidding Information

Fill in a bid form and send your bids by post, phone, fax or e-mail to reach us before 1800hrs on Wednesday 14th April 2010. Fax bids are very welcome, but please wait until after 1800hrs, when all calls will be answered as faxes.

The following are the bidding steps:

  • less than €20 in €1 steps;
  • €20 to €50 in €2 steps;
  • €50 to €100 in €5 steps;
  • €100 to €250 in €10 steps;
  • over €250 in €25 steps.

Bid on as many lots as you wish. If you wish to limit your bids please let us know.If a lot is something you must have, then by all means bid 3 or 4 (or more!) times the estimate. We will only use the bid increment that is necessary to clear the next bidder and not necessarily your top bid. Thus, if the top bid is for €50 and your top bid is €200, you will pay €55 to get the lot. Be assured, that we will respect your bids. Any problems with any lot received and we will of course refund without quibble.

For Ireland only, you can pay by personal cheque or Laser Card. For all other EURO countries IBAN transfer costs very little [IBAN: IE16 AIBK 931071 01780055 (BIC: AIBKIE2D)]. Alternatively, pay by MASTERCARD or VISA credit cards. We will add a €2 (+ 21.5% VAT) handling charge per lot and postage, packaging and insurance is charged at cost, to ensure that your lots arrive in perfect condition. Lots will be sent by the cheapest route unless you specify otherwise.
